Why Dietetics?

Because food impacts health and diseases!

Nutrition is a key factor to improve health and well-being. However, when a person choose to eat something, nutrition is often not only the prime factor influencing food choices. A dietitian is a healthcare professional that is capable of providing nutritional care ranging from counseling patients with diabetes to calculating enteral nutrition feeding for critical care patients. Dietitians don’t do only weight loss consultation!

Here at the program, we teach our dietitians-to-be to understand the complexity of human food choice and be equipped with counseling and education skills along with the nutrition knowledge to provide the best nutritional care to individuals, groups, communities, and population.
