Requirements for Graduation

Plan A1

  1. Total time of study should not exceed the study plan.
  2. Student must complete thesis as stated in the curriculum of 36 credits, and may enroll in courses assigned or recommended by advisor without credits.
  3. Student must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
  4. Student must participate in skill development activities of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
  5. Student must pass the oral thesis defense by following regulations of Mahidol University on Graduate Studies that the Thesis Examination Committee must be appointed by Faculty of Graduate Studies and the oral thesis defense is open to public.
  6. Student must submit a master’s thesis that meets the requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
  7. Thesis or part of thesis must be published or accepted for publication in an international academic journal with quality according to the criteria for consideration of academic journals for dissemination of academic works from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and be in compliance with regulations of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.

Plan A2

  1. Total time of study should not exceed the study plan.
  2.  Student must complete courses as stated in the curriculum of at least 24 credits, and thesis of 12 credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  3. Student must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
  4. Student must participate in skill development activities of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
  5. Student must pass the oral thesis defense by following regulations of Mahidol University on Graduate Studies that the Thesis Examination Committee must be appointed by Faculty of Graduate Studies and the oral thesis defense is open to public.
  6. Student must submit a master’s thesis that meets the requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
  7. Thesis or part of thesis must be published or accepted for publication in a national or international academic journal with quality according to the criteria for consideration of academic journals for dissemination of academic works from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, or presented in a conference having full paper published in peer-reviewed proceedings. and be in compliance with regulations of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
