Associate Professor Dr. Warangkana Srichamnong recently attended the 2022 meeting of the Periodic Table of Food Initiative (PTFI), a collaborative effort to promote rapid acceleration in research and innovation and address global challenges in public health, regenerative agriculture, nutrition and the environment.
The Initiative is funded by The Rockefeller Foundation through its public charity RF Catalytic Capital Inc., the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research, and the Seerave Foundation, and administered by the American Heart Association and Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT (International Center for Tropical Agriculture). The Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU) was designated Asia Center of Excellence. This will enhance INMU’s development capacity in terms of metabolomics and achieving quality control across international laboratories and strengthening the core activity of INMU as a resource center for Thailand and Asian countries.
